Private Practice & Payment Policy

At JHB Dentistry, we are committed to delivering world-class dentistry with personalised care and exceptional service. Please note that we are a private practice and not contracted to any medical aid.

This means that payment for all treatments is due at the time of your appointment, and remains the responsibility of the patient.
Invoices provided can be submitted to your medical aid for reimbursement, but please be aware that private practice fees may not be fully covered by your scheme. We recommend confirming this with your provider in advance by submitting the treatment plan and quote.

What to Expect at Your First Consultation

Your initial consultation includes:

• A comprehensive diagnosis
• Any required x-rays
• A personalised treatment plan

This appointment is approximately 60 minutes and currently costs R2,371 (subject to change). We take the time to discuss your concerns, explain your options, and provide a detailed quote with procedure codes should you wish to submit it to your medical aid.

Please note that we are unable to provide an accurate diagnosis or quote without a proper clinical assessment. Your treatment plan is based on your individual oral health, medical history, previous dental work, materials used, and any underlying conditions—all of which must be considered during a thorough consultation.
